Thu May 22nd 7:00pm – Thu Jun 19th 7:00pm (EDT)

This micro-credential, delivered by the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, will support learners in acquiring and refining conflict engagement, conflict resolution, and communication skills to support family law and justice. It will be held online over five weeks, with a total of 7.5 hours of class time.
With instructor Charmaine Panko, a family law lawyer, participants will learn to identify family dynamics and relations that impact legal proceedings. They will learn to recognize their own conflict engagement styles and be able to identify these styles in others. Learners will practice communication strategies with each other, taking part in simulated challenging conversations and receiving constructive feedback from peers. This micro-credential will provide learners with tools and resources to facilitate the practice of family law and justice.
This micro-credential is delivered as a mix of asynchronous online learning within Canvas and weekly live synchronous sessions on Zoom.
